RealMe

A first for South African consumers, our RealMe programme rewards you with cash back in your pocket when you choose to monetize your data.

How do I make money from my personal information/data?

Whenever a data collector (like a credit bureau) passes on your information to a bank or lender, the lender pays the referring company a commission for your data. At Fincheck, we are sharing that commission with the consumer.

When you share your information with us, and then request we send that information to a lender for a product application, we will be informed if your application was accepted or not. If your application is successful, we get our commission and then based on your affiliate level, share up to 60% of it with you.

How much do I get paid?

The amount of commission we share with you is based on your affiliate level. You can get paid up to 60% of the commission we receive. Our commission rates vary between 1% and 3% of the principal loan amount with our lenders.

When I get paid, when does the money go?

The money goes straight into your Wallet.

How do I know I’m getting my fair share?

Good question. We strive to be 100% transparent with you. Every time your wallet balance changes, you will receive an email(?) with a transaction detail. If it is a cash-back payment, you will get details on the loan amount, commission received and your share of the commission paid out.
